The Raymond Family invites you to join us on the Lower Highland Lake in Goshen, Massachusetts. The property is our year round residence and we enjoy sharing the beauty of the lake with our guests. Privacy and enjoyment of your stay with us is of the utmost importance and will be respected by all.

Fondly called ”The Goshen Ocean,” the lake offers great swimming (there are no motor boats allowed), canoeing, kayaking, sailing, wind surfing, and fishing. A favorite is the trampoline raft ! The lake abuts the 1500 acre DAR State Forest that has miles of marked hiking and mountain bike trails .

We offer you a choice of 3 unique cottages to rent for a minimum of one week or longer from mid-June to mid-September.

Goshen, MA is located just 20 minutes outside of Northampton, MA in the heart of the the hilltowns of Western Massachusetts!

We were delighted to find these cottages by the lake in Goshen for our family vacation.Traveling from Texas to bring our daughter for her Freshman year at Smith College in Northampton, we wanted someplace peaceful and beautiful to make the transition. The cottage was perfect for us. The drive to and from Northampton was an easy 20 minutes through beautiful small towns and spectacular landscapes,passing a trailer that served the best New England clam chowder of our trip ! The Raymond Family were so helpful with advice before our trip and extremely welcoming during our stay. The lake was perfect for a refreshing swim and the trampoline raft and boats made for a happy and tired 13 year old son ! If you are uninspired by the motels that look the same in every town,like to swim and canoe,like to cook your own meals when on vacation,find peace in the forest and see the stars at night but still be close to town,then check out these cabins for your next Massachusetts vacation.
