"This was our second stay at Goshen Ocean and it was even more delightful than the first. Our hosts Dina and Bob couldn't be more generous and accommodating, and the property itself can only be described as a little slice of heaven. We swam, kayaked, grilled every night, played with our dog (yes, they are extremely dog friendly) and just relaxed by the lake and in our cozy cottage. It's close to so many great places to visit and enjoy (Northampton, the Berkshires, DAR State forest), yet far enough away to indulge in a little pastoral solitude. We can't wait to return!"

"I’ve spent many restful summers Kayaking on the lake, or taking a special night in with a movie or board game. The atmosphere is surrounded by beautiful flowers and friendly inviting neighbors. The cabins themselves are well kept. Great hosts! What a lovely and peaceful spot~"

Mary Apgar

"We had a wonderful dog friendly retreat here at this beautiful lake side cabin. Everything you could want is here - a quiet clean lake and boats for your enjoyment... highly recommended whether for a peaceful get away or a family vacation!"

Darrick Morris

"We stayed in the Green Cottage for a few days in July. Our trip could not have been better! I only wish we could have stayed longer. The host, location, cottage, lake, town are fantastic."

Nancy Kinney

"Being out on the Lake at 6 am in a kayak was delightful! Everything is provided, including life vests of all sizes! The White Cottage is spacious and charming. The entire property is beautiful and clean. We walked to the nearby Farm Stand for super fresh eggs, berries, yogurt and donuts! The Goshen General Store is also a short walk away. Enjoyed several "car free" days, though the drive to nearby Ashfield and Worthington is easy and so beautiful! My favorite vacation spot! Thank you Dina and Bob for another fantastic week at Goshen Summer Rentals!"

"We spent a fabulous week at the Goshen Ocean! It is a great place to relax and unwind. Dina and Bob are terrific hosts with plenty of recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. It was wonderful to have access to their boats and kayaks, and the DAR State Forest is right next door with lots of hiking trails. Thanks for everything, Dina and Bob!"

"A wonderful experience! Staying here is like visiting family in a fabulous location ... ( the ones you love being around), than renting a vacation cottage. Everything about our experience was excellent! My 'Star rrating' would include all stars in the known universe, if that were an option. If you're looking for a quiet, friendly quaint, pleasant vacation, do yourself a favor, and call here!"

Jim and Nancy Piscioneri

"We stayed at Goshen Ocean (Goshen Summer Rental) for the summer of 20018. It is a wonderful place to relax, read and swim in the beautiful lake. Plus the Raymonds have all kind of water craft to enjoy. No motors so no noise. Dina and Bob make you feel like family. Their two children are a delight to be around. You can enjoy yourself taking day trips or sitting by the lake. There is so much to do in the area, also many good restaurants, cultural events and shopping."

"Lovely vacation with the family, host is amazing and very accommodating. Highly recommend! We'll be going back next summer for sure!"

John Burnett

"I have stayed here 7-8 times for two weeks each year. The property and the owners are truely one of a kind. The ability to stay here and enjoy their hospitality is a true blessing. I would best describe the property as a retreat, in the best sense of the word. The weight of the world slips from my shoulders every time I see the lake, its something you have to experience. There are plenty of FREE boating options, including sail, kayak, canoe, paddleboat and rowboat...all first come first serve. I think I spend about 2 hours a day on the water, and the rest just lounging waterside with a cold one. Bring your own life jacket if you have one, as its the law to wear one on the water (but they have some to borrow as well).. There are about 5-10 really good food options less than 10 miles away, and hundreds of restaurants in Noho. You can also cook and grill your own food if you wish. There is a first class fish monger and butcher in Noho on King St, just google for those locations (they are almost across the street from each other). There are also several really nice roadside farmer's stands in Hatfield, which is only 15 minutes away. Follow Elm St to Prospect St, and you are in foodie heaven...the corn on the cob guy is my favorite, I take home 10 dozen ears every year."

Darlene Monds

"I live in the area and am still amazed how beautiful the lake is. Accommodations were great - from the kayaks to the host!"

Ronnie Maclellan

"This is a truly special place, a real escape. We stayed in the White Cottage which along with the other two is totally unique. It is well equipped and comfortable with great original 1950's features - amazing sinks in the kitchen and bathroom! The location was perfect for us - quiet, ie. no watercraft with engines on the lake, warm water (unheard of in the UK!), full use of the kayaks, canoe, trampoline & paddleboard and is right next to the DAR Forest. We explored this a bit but it was difficult to leave the lake! Northampton is a great, offbeat city with small independent shops and Smith College Art Gallery and Botanics which were lovely, Shelburne Falls was really worth visiting for the Bridge of Flowers, glacial potholes and mosaic trail giving a history of the town and Williamsburg and Ashfield had great bakeries and delicious pizza. What more could you ask for...friendly, helpful hosts who couldn't do enough to make us welcome? Got that too! Dina and Bob are exceptional. We left feeling we had made new friends - an unforgettable break. We will be back. Thank you Dina, Bob, Maddie, Dan and Laura, Best wishes."
